Electro Equipments was set up by a group of visionaries in 2007 who wanted to provide world class standby power products, control systems and services to the government departments, paramilitary forces and PSUs at an affordable price. The company took up the OEMship of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. ( KOEL ), one of the leading engine manufacturers of the country and set up a plant in Roorkee. The company made its mark in the chosen area of operation and soon became the leading supplier of DG sets to government departments through DGS& D and Tenders.
