THE BEGINNING The seeds for Sickle Innovations were sown at the Indian Institute of Science and later the company was founded in 2014 with the support of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————– CORE FOCUS Indian agricultural sector mostly comprising micro farms has been plagued by several problems such as dwindling crop harvests, increased labour costs and severe labour attrition. We believe we can help farmers earn more by either reducing the input cost (in terms of labour) or by increasing the value of their produce.
